Keep track of deadlines automatically

On-time submissions, reliable reviews and structured processes are the backbone of every scientific conference.

With the new Deadline Manager, Smart Abstract gives medical societies a powerful tool to control critical deadlines automatically and to reduce the administrative workload in conference management considerably.

Manage deadlines – overview of all deadlines with activation switches
“Manage deadlines”: all the deadlines for a conference in one place – can be activated separately, with its own reminders and extensions.

➤Automated reminder mailing

Reminders go out on their own. The system sends time-controlled e-mail reminders specifically to people with incomplete submissions or outstanding reviews.

➤Smart extension management

Extend without rework. Deadlines can be extended flexibly and even in several stages. The system replaces the original date on the due date entirely on its own.

➤Unofficial late-comer deadlines

Officially closed, open behind the scenes. Hidden visibility settings keep the system open for late-comers while the deadline is already shown publicly as expired.
